Do what works for YOU!

There's a lot of advice on here, most pretty good, but the most important is to find what works for YOU in keeping on the wagon. I'm a perpetual night owl, that's just how I am. So working out in the morning, which is often recommended, just never worked for me and I would get discouraged and pretty much every day started out bad and spiraled down from there. When I finally just accepted that my best workout time is 2am - then I finally got on a regular schedule of working out AND eating better.

Almond Flour/Meal

This is an awesome replacement for bread crumbs and flour in almost every recipe. A little different for baking, but awesome for cooking. Get rid of all those carbs, add some protein, and it actually adds a lot of flavor!!! I always keep a bag in the house... keeps longer in the fridge.

Thomas Bagel Thins

These are great!! Only 110 calories for a bagel!!! That's amazing in itself... but they are also delicious!! They come in several flavors also. I've used them for breakfast, of course, but also just made pizzas with them tonight... yum!!!

Get an immersion blender!!!

You can make creamy veggies soups that taste great and are filling!!! Just roast whatever veggies you want, then add to stock pot with some veggie or chicken stock, a little fat free half & half... and blend right in the pot with the immersion blender!!! Amazingly low calorie and low fat, but they taste like those cream filled restaurant soups!!! Plus you get your fresh veggies in!
