Gourmet Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn

Popcorn, Indiana makes a Gourmet Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn.

It's a nice combination of sweet & salty.
It's "an all natural snack with a 'cinnamon bun' taste & a crunch you crave."

A serving is 2 1/2 cups for 130 calories; 4.5 g. fat; 2 g. dietary fiber & 1 g. protein.

A serving is 16 g or more of 100% Whole Grain.
(I got mine at Wal-mart.)

Alessi Breadsticks made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I used to buy these all the time. They are made with healthy olive oil and come in several varieties including Rosemary & Plain Thin Breadsticks. 9 Sticks are 110 Calories.
They make a nice crunchy addition to a lunch with string cheese or for a snack.
A little strange note: they come wrapped in little packages of 6 per package in a box. A serving size is 9 - so you have to open a second package to get your serving. They are a product of Italy.

They come 16 per package and cost $2.50.

Nail Magic Does Work Like Magic!

I had the worst finger nails; thin & peeling. I’d clip them each week so they won’t split further.
I tried many products. Finally found Nail Magic. Within a month, major improvement!
Nothing has ever worked like Nail Magic. My nails grow so fast, so hard and so long.
I am now complaining that I HAVE to clip them so often.
It comes in a bottle and you apply it like nail polish.
I can only find it at Sally’s Beauty for about $8.00; it lasts a long time – so worth the price!

Print an Enlarged List of Super Foods & Display it on Your Refrigerator!

Spark Friend BIGMAMAT posted a blog entry today inviting all to eat from the list of Super Foods for the day. Then we are to report at the end of the day what we have eaten. Great idea!

I took the list, enlarged it and placed it right smack in the center of my refrigerator.
That way I’m sure to think twice and make healthier selections by using this list, today and everyday!

Here’s the link to the list: http://www.sparkpeople.com/r

Shoes, Cookbooks and Keeping Receipts

I store 90% of my shoes in the original boxes that they come in.
I always put the sales receipt in with the shoes.
If for some reason I need to return them or question how old my workout shoes are, I have the receipt right there. No digging through a mountain of other receipts looking for it.
I also have done this with books that I purchase – especially cookbooks – I put the receipt in the back of the book. Sometimes I just want to know how long I have been using that cookbook.

Expect the Best! – And Live a Longer, Better Life!

I’ve decided from now on, my glass is going to be “half full.”

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic found that optimism was associated with feelings of better health, more vitality, higher mental health ratings, and lower levels of pain. Depression had the opposite effect. Feeling good is not a luxury; it’s a basic component of health. Engaging the world with an expectation of the best can give each of us a longer, better life.

Benefits of a good mood can begin today!
