Lactic Acid after exercise? Drink V8 fusion right after.

I drink a V8 Fusion right after I workout. When I forget to bring it with me to the gym, I always have sore muscles from the lactic acid. When I drink the Fusion, no sore muscles.

Ants hatching at your house? Time for yardwork!

The ants came out like crazy last week and my bulbs are now growing. Got the rose garden raked out & mulched today. Now I know! Weather is crazy still, but the bulbs and ants don't seem to care. Got Preen Mulch, has a weed barrier for 6 months! Very cool!

My chapped lips=dehydrated
!

I have been trying to drink a gallon of water a day & have been doing it most days. I got less than 8 glasses each day over the weekend with a family trip & noticed my lips were all dried out within hours & never felt good the whole weekend. Used chapstick, but didn't last long.

I overspend when shopping, so I send DH with a list instead.

When we first got married, we realized that I overspend & he can stick to the list. So, we budget and make the list at home with no temptations & he does the shopping. He likes doing it by himself. I like staying on budget. I do research online for anything complicated. Send him with all info so people at the store can find it for him. Sometimes like at Lowe's, I can even buy it online and he can just go get it.

KIVA.COM is a great way to save/use extra money

Giving a microloan through Kiva.com is a great way to save/use money. As the people repay the loan, you can withdraw it or save it up to reloan it to another person. If you need it, withdraw. If you don't then wait.

My love language is service=my dh drops me off & picks me up at the gym.

When I don't feel like going to the gym, I remember that my hubby is going to drop me off & then going to pick me up after he gets our son from school. It is so simple, but it takes all of the negative energy out of getting to the gym. I have more to give myself when my needs are met.

Refrigerated onions don't make your eyes water when you chop them!

Make sure your onions are nice and cold before you chop them up.

If you've never felt full, this is how to do it.

I can't afford to get the lapband, but I went to the "meeting" to check it out years ago. I left thinking, well maybe the after surgery rules might help now. So, I tried the eating & drinking seperately. For the very first time in my life, I understood what "my" full felt like. And I finally knew where my stomach was. Wasn't where I thought.
