When I go to certain hotels with my husband sometimes they do not have gyms (our fav. in LV is Sam's Town) they have a pool. We always stay on the 9th floor, their highest. I get permission to use the stair wells for exercise. I walk around the top floor which is a large circle that overlooks down onto the indoor waterfall and food courts, it is close in size to a reg. school track size. I walk around 4 times, then the staircase up & down 2 twice. I do this set 4 times total.
When ever I go to the market, I only pay with cash. Most markets have a charity container next to where you pick up your change. Rather then keep I the coins (change) I get back, I put them in the box to help others. I never miss it.
If you have been ill for over 2 weeks or more. Start back slowly to exercise. If you do too much, too fast, you can or could relapse and be worse off. Take it easy for the first week and then slowly get back to where you were b/4 you got sick.
Having been sick the last couple of days I found this to be very important. To keep from getting dehydrated one needs to be sure to drink plenty of water. When you can't keep anything down, sip water slowly.
If for some reason or you have medical problems that make you tired, it is OK to take a rest day. This gives your body time to regroup and re-energize itself. Never feel ashamed because you need to do this. Tomorrow is another day to jump out of bed feeling ready to exercise.
Sometimes people have a bad day. You all know what I mean, like when you see the cashier at the market or any store who had a bad customer in front of you and now they are upset. Just smile and tell them " things can only get better for you today, because there can't be another one like that!"
I find that if I either give away to a friend or charity my clothes that are now too big for me, it gives me the incentive not to get that big again. Why? (see next paragraph)
Because a person has been asleep all night long your body needs water in the morning. Most people wake up and use the bathroom but forget to re-hydrate. Keep a glass on your nightstand too, this will remind you to drink the 8 cups a day your body needs.
When ever I am sitting around on the computer, watching tv or just sitting at a table doing crafts or whatever. I wiggle my feet or legs. I may look like a jumping bean but I at least get some tiny bit of exercise in where ever I am at. This works best with your fav. music on to keep a beat too.
My kidney doctor use to tell me that to lose weight wear less. No sweats. He said your body has to work harder to get warm with less clothes on. So when no one is home I do my housework in my bra and undies. I hope soon to fit into a bikini or at least a 2 pc. suit.
