Seltzer Water

I love the fizzy feel of soda pop, but didn't like the calories and nasty ingredients. I was also trying to lower my sodium. I switched to seltzer water, which I can flavor with real fruit juice like lemon and lime. This has saved me money, improved my health, and I even like the taste of it quite a bit more!

what to drink on airplanes

I travel a lot and normally get Ginger Ale to drink when they come around...I've switched for those times (most flights) when I want something to eat, or just something other than the water I bring on board. Now I ask for Bloody Mary mix on ice with a lime...it's free, and satisfies. The whole can is ony 70 calories and counts toward F&V servings!

Starbucks Holiday Drinks - STAY AWAY

I;m a sucker for the holiday drinks at starbucks. I do get non-fat and they are still loaded with carbs. If you are like me and have to watch the carb intake...STAY AWAY!
I just learned a tall, nonfat, pumpkin spice latte - 50 carbs! OUCH!!!
