FAVORITE CLEANER FOR ELECTRONICS AND GLASS

I have found my ultimate way to clean glass...
I use a squeegee and coffee filters ( as paper towels) they are stronger and they last longer!
I use plain vinegar half and half in a spray bottle..
For my electronics. computers, I will use a fine mist spray bottle spray on a cloth and I will use half rubbing alcohol (first aid dept) and half water..

Vinegar for Salad Dressing

Top your salad with a tablespoon of vinegar instead of dressing. Seasoned rice vinegar and balsamic are two of my faves. SO much flavor for so FEW calories!

Using Vinegar to kill weeds !!!

Vinegar when sprayed or poured onto weeds will prevent the weed from absorbing water, thus killing it. My dad told me this, and he is a professional gardner. Watchout, it does kill everything, even grass. So, just put it on what you want to get rid of. Much cheaper than those $99 bottles of killer. Vinegar has sooo many uses! :)

Balsamic Vinegar Reduction

Balsamic vinegar (especially aged vinegar) has a great flavor that intesifies and sweetens when you reduce it. Bring a small pan of balsamic vinegar to a boil and then simmer until it thickens. When it coats the back of a spoon, it's done. It makes a great salad dressing or veggie dip and is extremely low calorie!

Febreeze it Not

Set up a small glass bowl of vinegar in the smelly area. Before the vinegar evaporates, dump it down the drain with water. The vinegar molecules surround the odor molecules and capture them and take them down!

All purpose cleaning recipe suitable for CFS, chemical intolerances, etc.

I suffer from CFS & cannot tolerate a lot of chemicals. I can clean everything around the house with a mixture of vinegar, bicarb (baking) soda, water & paper towels.
For aromatherapy effects add a few drops of your choice of essential oils: lemon myrtle is uplifting; eucalyptus is sanitising; lavender is calming; peppermint is refreshing, etc. The whole house smells wonderful & cleaning is actually therapeutic.

Get Rid Of Fruit Flies Naturally - Glass Jar, Paper, Fruit, & Vinegar Needed

Place piece(s) of fruit-melon/banana/etc-at the bottom of glass jar. Create a cone out of paper, balance on rim of jar so the opening at the pointy end is just big enough that a fruit fly can get through & does not touch the fruit at bottom of jar. (See more info for rest)

New Clothes - Wash With Vinegar to Set The Dye

I love bright colors & black clothes, but I don't like seeing them fade and get dull. What I do is on the first wash, I put the new garment in the washer with 1 cup of white vinegar. This sets the dye and prevents fading. You can but don't have to use detergent--it's all about setting the dye.

Laundry smelling of Mildew?

Add a cup of regular vinegar to your laundry when you throw your towels in your washing machine. It zaps the mildew smell out of your towels and leaves behind a fresh scent.
