In order to be happy, first start acting happy. Develop a genuine smile and laugh a lot. Smile into the mirror for several minutes and notice how your mood naturally improves. Smiling makes you happy and the more you smile the more happy you become.
Smiling makes you happy and when you smile at someone they DO smile back!! When you are happy the world seems happy = less stress and for most of us less eating!! And smiling does not cost anything!! So try it! :)
I'm sitting here smiling - over nothing! Sure, I look like a happy chimp at your nearby zoo, but I also recently read that not only do you trick your brain into thinking you are happy, but you start to form new neural pathways by the very act of smiling. Not to mention that we use many unique facial muscles when we smile. I can use new neural pathways. (smiling)
