Every week I ask myself one question: "If the scale never moves again, was my life made better for this week's efforts to work out and eat mindfully or worse?" And the answer is always 'Way better!" no matter what the scale tells me that particular week... That particular question always refocuses for me the best and most uplifting internal motivation I have found.
Focus on the sensations exploding in your mouth by eating mindfully. Fix a nice place for yourself at the table. Make your food look beautiful. No TV. No computers or video games. No books. Be fully present with each bite. You will feel satisfied as you feed your hunger, not your appetite.
