Do Bathroom Pushups

Everytime I go to the bathroom at work, I do some pushups. Not on the floor, of course, but on the counter. I stand about three feet away, position my hands on the counter, and do 10 'pushups.'

    When in the shower, I hold onto the steady handle and do leg abductions and adductions against the side of the bathtub. Great isometrics! I am going to add the push ups and tricep dips to MY "potty training"!

    I do wall pushups in the elevator (12 up, 12 down, every time) more wall push ups in the bathroom. Also triceps dips, using the counter. Every little bit helps! emoticon

    I like to do the backwards ones when I see a bench... I am really changing my mind set, that you can do exercise throughout the day here and there...it all adds up...

    I do the same thing but when I'm at the microwave. I put in my food and while it's running I try to do as many counter push-ups as possible or at least 10. Good idea with the bathroom though.

    These are really good ideas with the push-ups in the bathroom and squats while you brush your teeth! Thank you so much for inspiring cause I have been in a rut for over a week and will be trying these to see if they help. emoticon

    You are going to wash your hands anyways, so don't worry about touching things. I use the handicapped stall for more room.

    Great Idea!!! I do wall-ups, squats and lunges when I go potty at work. I also use the restroom on a different floor and use the stairs. I team I used to be on called this "Potty Training"..... LOL

    I do this when I'm in the dark room developing x-rays. I also do squats while I brush my teeth or dry my hair. Every little bit helps. emoticon emoticon

    Pushups on the counter is a good idea. I jog in place while the bath water is running, or dance.

    I thought I was the only one that does that. I do mine against the wall @ home everytime I go and I am on lasix so that is many times a day!!! emoticon
