I almost derailed myself until I turned and told my "PERFECT WOMAN" to take a hike and don't ever come back into my life again! emoticon

More Information:

I am a perfectionist from childhood. It was time to "drop the load" of this overwhelming and ridiculous burden I had nurtured and carried on my back nearly all my life until this year.

  • Awesome! I completely agree! Even better is when we realize that we ARE someone's perfect woman. Whether that is a significant other, a family member, or a friend, someone out there thinks we are dynamic just the way we are. I too struggled with the idea of perfection. It was not until I found someone to whom I am the "perfect woman" that I realized how nebulous the definition of a perfect woman can be. And it's SO important not to look for that number one fan just in a love interest... My biggest cheerleader?... My mom :) - by BLUEEMPRESS
