Starting over. I re-evaluated from head to toe, including tracking food, exercise, measurements and weight.

More Information:

I reset my start weight and extended my goal. After I re-measured every part of my body, I lowered my daily calories and have slowly started exercising again. "Nineteen days to start a new habit."

    I'd rather do cardio. For me its more fun and feels like I get done faster.

    I've found that I only lose weight steady if I do a combination of Cardio and Weights.

    I also like routine. Doing the same thing over and over. Again, for steady weight loss, you have to mix it up every 12 weeks or so or your body gets used to the routine.

    Good luck. I really enjoyed reading Body For Life by Bill Philips. It is NOT a fad diet or anything. I just like his motivational speaking. He makes me feel like I CAN do it. It is a lot of work, but you get results. Using his plan I have lost and kept off 40# over the course of a few years.

    He has a cookbook that even my non-dieting friends have liked. They were quite surprised. It's worth checking out at the library at least.
