This Sparked Me!

When there is a day where I don't feel like working out, I tell myself give the first 5 minutes! I work out for 5 minutes by the time 5 minutes is up I'll want to keep going! I feel so energized after a good workout. Working out is such an important part of my everyday life :)

Can you relate?

Taking that first step out the door towards your walk or run, or taking out your exercise mat, hand weights, or resistance bands are sometimes dreaded... but, once out the door and up the block, or getting through your first exercise video is all you need to spur on your energy level. You actually start to enjoy it and miss it if you don't! Being consistent is the key! emoticon

What a great idea. I've tried to convince myself about the 10 minutes, but this is a better way for me to start. I can always do 5 minutes right? thanks!!
TLYNNHART 7/23/2013 10:17:00 AM

This is a great way to get started. I can do this for five minutes, even in the morning. Thanks for the much needed new perspective and motivation! emoticon
FITNESSFREAK10 6/23/2010 8:04:00 AM

This happens with me too. Once in a while i do not feel like going for a walk, feeling less energetic. However , i give pep talk to my self and persuade self to go out and take a little walk , may be less than the normal. Once , out , get mood elevation and end up walking as much as normal.
The message is never give up... emoticon
