This Sparked Me!

I find that if I have food planned and with me I am not tempted to head to the vending machine at school at night. I plan meals the night before and pack a bag with a meal and snack for the evening and I am not tempted to grab the junk. emoticon

I make myself sit down to eat for at least 20 minutes, too... chewing and savoring every bite. The break and the meal gets me back to work energized (I am a culinary student in night school so there is lots of physical work)

    Same goes for any outing - I take along healthy snacks and cold drinks when I go out, especially when food shopping!
