I like the way my teeth feel after I brush them...and I know that eating something will ruin that and I don't want to take time to brush them AGAIN. It helps me stop and think before I pop something in my mouth. Try it -- especially at night when you might just be bored & grazing in the kitchen!

I got in the habit of removing my makeup right after dinner instead of waiting until bed time when I am too tired. I also put on my eye cream & other creams then because I am a night owl & when I go to bed late, I don't want to do it then so this helps me make sure it is done ahead of time.
Also floss your teeth right after your last snack in the early evening & brush your teeth so you won't be tempted to eat again.
When I have a craving that comes at a time when I shouldn't eat, I brush my teeth. I think it's just a fact that no one wants to turn around and eat after brushing teeth, and it's great for your teeth. You can still brush your teeth if you're at work or out somewhere. And it doesn't have to be very involved, just a quick brush does the trick. 54
