lettuces, silver beet, corn, potatoes, carrots , pumpkin, courgettes, herbs etc are easy to grow. you can grow in pots or share an area with neighbours or family and share/swap produce. you can grow and collect your own seeds. if you are new to gardening, start small.

  • I grow my a few of my own veggies too. I grow purple hull peas, lady peas, lima beans, speckled butter beans, tomoatoes, cucumbers, okra and corn. Saves a ton of money! - by JUNAKA
  • you can also grow fruit. strawberries require little space. there are dwarf varieties of fruit trees. start with something easily grown in your area. you can even grow commercial grapes for winemaking. - by LIGHTHOUSE14
