Since joining SP about almost 6 months ago{today's date-7.18.10}, I have to say one of their healthy habits I have incorporated into my new healthier eating routine is EATING ON PURPOSE! Case in point~I was ordering dinner in a restaurant and saw chicken could be added to my meal {I was having ...

spaghettini.} I knew I had not had much protein that day so I ordered the grilled chicken strips with the meal.That is EATING ON PURPOSE! Protein & folate are areas in my diet I regularly lack enough of,so eating on purpose fulfills getting the right amount of nutrients I need.

    It's really an eye opener to see how what you're eating affects the nutrition you're getting. I find I'm paying more attention to the protein values emoticon
since I seem to have no trouble at all with the carbohydrates!

    Another reason to LOVE the Nutrition Trackers. You know immediately if you are low in certain vitamins or too high in others. It really is NOT all about Calories!
