24oz At A Time

To get my 8 cups of Water in a day, I have a water bottle Fresh and Fit Vortex it has 24 oz of water it holds. I fill it with water, only 3 times a day and I'm not always waiting to get to a sink to fill up a smaller bottle or glass. If I go somewhere I put in the ice in the vortex it came with.

MORE INFORMATION:
It's easier to see that you only fill up something 3 times instead of 8times or more to get your water for the day. It's just a little trick I play on myself to get the water.

I have a 24oz. bottle and a 32oz. bottle so I fill both of them up every night before I go to bed, and I know I have to empty them both and drink at least one additional glass of water before bed. Way easier than when I had a 16oz. bottle and had to remember how many times I had already filled it that day.

My "big drink" container holds 32 ounces...2 or 3 trips to the filtered water and I'm pretty well hydrated emoticon

Oh, and downing 16 ozs when you first get up in the morning helps too.

Tip, going to get that water has its' upside, you're getting more steps in and may even run into that person who's been dodging your emails emoticon

i drink 64oz bottle of water and fill it 2 times/ the first time is water the 2nd time is 3pks of flavered powder/ sugar free of course/then your not bored with just water or i put lemon juice in also emoticon

It can go both ways. Sometimes the big bottles overwhelm me. On days that I'm home, I find you can also get the water in by filling a small paper cup and drinking one of those at the top of every hour and then just having 1-2 of the 16-oz. bottles when I'm walking, or when I'm driving my kids around.

I LIKE HAVING 24oz BOTTLES OF WATER. I HAVE 6 (24oz) BOTTLES OF WATER IN REFRIGERATOR; WHEN I DRINK 3 BOTTLES A DAY I KNOW I DRANK MY WATER. THIS IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA. THANKS FOR POSTING THE COMMENT emoticon emoticon

Like everyone else I have a bottle of smartwater or fiji that holds a liter of water. I fill it up 3 times a day and know that I'm getting enough water and it's easy to chug out of and reminds me to drink from it.
I used to do Bikram Yoga (know I live far away from any studio) and I would fill half the bottle w/water and freeze it for a few hours. Then I would fill up the rest and the water would be nice and cold!

I am not a big water drinker but I am going to try some/all of your ideas. Thanks guys!

I do the same thing. Helps me get in my water and I even end up drinking more than the 8 cups recommended!
CHUBBY_BUNNY36 8/1/2011 2:10:00 AM

I seem to go between a big bottle of water and a smaller one. I have found that if I put rubber bands around the bottle and I take one off each time I refill it helps me remember how many I have drank. I also like the stainless water bottles that you can clip on a back pack and it has its own cover so that the bottle doesn't sweat all over. I have to have ice in my water because if it gets warm I know I won't drink it.

What a great idea. Thanks. emoticon

I have a sedentary secretarial job SO I don't want a BIG glass. My glass holds 16 oz and that's plenty big enough. I get in more steps if I have to get up to refill! Walk, walk, walk! But to each his own - whatever it takes to get the job done.

I like mine cold so I would have to fill it with ice and water, 24 or 32 oz would get warm to fast for me, but I will give the freezer trick a try
TWINKIE14 4/5/2010 9:46:00 AM

I now have a bottle that hold 6 cups, and I am trying to get water in using it emoticon
MOLLYSGOAL 3/29/2010 4:13:00 PM

I do the 32 oz container also, fill it with crushed ice and water and it's easier for me to drinnk when it is so cold. Two of those a day but trying for 3-4.

I do the same thing with a bottle I have. I fill mine three times a day with my filtered water and I've gotten 9 cups of water for the day- easy! WTG on your water! Keep up the great work!!!
