All kinds of stressful situations can cause your blood sugar levels to rise. Be physically active, move your body through a wide range of motion such as stretching, circling, & shaking your limbs. Walking, using the stairs, moving around, swimming, dancing or even biking. Once you incorporate physical activity as part of your routine, you’ll wonder how you ever did without it. You'll have more energy & your clothes will fit better. People with diabetes should get up every 20 minutes!
You have to love the little successes about your weight loss journey. Not eating that cupcake. Using the stairs instead of the elevator. Even being honest about the food you log. Doing this keeps your spirits up and your motivation higher :)
