My new trick for NOT testing my baking too much is...I watch a weight loss show while I'm busy in the kitchen. I had to make a wedding cake yesterday and while I was icing it I was watching 'Last 10 pounds Boot Camp'. That stopped me from licking my fingers and the bowl too much!!
I've worked too hard to get rid of the excess fat...don't want it back!

After the box of baking soda in your fridge or freezer no longer keeps your fridge fresh, you can dump it into your bath tub (I sprinkle a bit into the sink, too), add a bit of water to make a paste and use it as a slightly abrasive scrub for cleaning. Just be sure to rinse well.
(you may want to test a small area to ensure that the baking soda wont scratch the finish of your tub)
Run control Tests on your meter if numbers look wrong.
My Glucometer has test strips and a solution that enables me to make sure the meter and test strips are working properly. Dropping your meter, leaving strip container open and other things can affect meter or strips. If my numbers look off i can check it out. The company supplies the test solution or it can be bought at pharmacy.
