Hot Herbal Tea To Nix Nighttime Snacking

If I've used up all my day's calories but still have the munchies at night, I make a cup of hot herbal tea, sweetened with stevia. It is sweet and comforting, occupies the mouth and hands til the urge to munch has passed, and even fills the belly for a *little* while.

Sometimes I add a dash of skim milk to make it feel more like a treat. Note: Make sure you use DECAF tea, and maybe even something like a "tension tamer", "sleepytime" or "calming" tea.

    Have you tried "Licorice Spice" tea by Stash? It DOES NOT taste like licorice, but is naturally sweet and mellow. With a dash of fat free half & half it is a real treat. Try it--you'll like it!
