I dread trips..it seems I can't control my eating . This last trip a friend and I decided we would ONLY eat at Subway. It worked out great. I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was good as well. On each sandwich I got double veggies..very satisfying, plus I tried the sweet onion dressing , Good!

Until a few years ago, I hated grocery shopping. I would put it off and off (which we all know leads to unhealthy eating). Then I decided to be grateful that I could grocery shop without having to worry about money. That wasn't a luxury I had as a child. We almost never had food in the house. We shopped daily for what we could afford to eat that night. I admit I felt horrible when I realized how many years I'd wasted grumbling about doing something as a child I dreamed about doing.
So next time your dreading that trip to the store, Stop and feel blessed that you can afford that trip to the store. 334
After you have determined that you are indeed hungry, MAKE SURE you have acceptable choices on hand - healthy nuts or seeds, fruits, veggies, hard pretzels, butter-less popcorn, etc. Then you will not be tempted to consume high calories fat-laden snacks!
