Getting My Younger Children Wanting To Try New Fruits And Vegtables

When I want the kids to try some thing new I tell them that it is really good and I don't know if me and their father want to share. Then we make a big deal about how good it tastes, and fianlly we say because you have been so good or since we love you so much. It works every time.
We can also do the opposite with food we don't really want them eating.

As I try to eat healthier, I encourage my family to do so as well! We try new things - through snack time! It's a great time to introduce new fruits or vegetables, especially with my children, because they are hungry and know it's not a whole meal....they can try a bite and be done! Get exotic, try something new, be healthy, and be amazed!
This is a great idea to fit into any part of your life you are feeling has the "same old, same old" feel. Try a new exercise or activity if you're getting bored. Try a new fruit or veggie, or just a new recipe if your meals are feeling blah. You can even try something new on the motivational side!!
Keep up on Spark Articles, message board posts and member blogs. I always find something new to do, eat or read about! It gives me some great ideas to change things up, new goals to reach for and sometimes even new rewards to give myself. We're a creative bunch here, we are!!
