Easy Ice Pack

If you need an ice pack for anything, from head to foot, a bag of frozen peas or corn works extremely well. The pieces are small enough to make the bag easy to mold around just about any body part. Leave it on for 15 minutes then throw back in the freezer and reuse or eat it later!

During my sons football season, we designate a bag of peas for ice pack use only! We put it in a freezer bag in a separate area. The bag of peas has worked great on molding to ankle and wrist injuries. - by JENN03275
  • I was just going to chime in with the fact that you should eat frozen veggies that have thawed or refrozen, but I see MCJULIEO has done it for me! - by THATWEIRDGIRL
  • Danger! Danger! Every time you let your ice pack thaw, you are promoting bacterial growth, even if you refreeze the package....these frozen food packages make great ice packs, but multiple thaws increase your chance of food borne illness. I suggest either eating immediately the first time you thaw it, or marking the package you refreeze somehow so that you NEVER eat it, just use it again and again for an ice pack. - by MCJULIEO
