  • They do this in Japan too. It's the best way! - by YASERUYO
This does really sound like a good idea and I'm going to try it. Let you know how it goes. - by SVNGRLS
  • Thanks - by SMITHANI
  • I've taken my little cart that has wheels and walked to the grocery store and back. I get some strange looks in the store though. - by WINSTONSUZ
I like this theory and will give it a thumbs up but it isn't always the best way to go. I live 16 miles from the nearest grocery store and I drive the opposite direction for work. It isn't very eco-friendly or money saving for me to drive to the store when I need one item. - by HEIDISO
I was stationed in Germany for a year and did exactly this, only i walked everywhere. I came home significantly slimmer and more fit. This method of shopping also made it hard to overeat. When there aren't gobs of food laying around, i don't seem to crave it or snack when i am bored!! - by CONURSEMAMA
It's interesting, but even living in Europe as a kid and again when I was in the Military...I never really thought about this as a good idea...until now. Funny how reading something later allows it to make sense. And the bike allows you to excersise as you get what you need...even if you don't track it. - by CMWINCHELL1
