I have found that the HARDEST thing to do is to motivate myself when I am stressed or disgusted with life even depressed with situations. There are always good things that come out of it even if you can't see at the time. because you are stuck in that moment. This is the time to pull all your resources together, chin up and (pretend) yes pretend everything is all right and you'll be surprised how quickly you come out of your funk and not sabotage your health!!!

Sometimes life gets me down - things not going well at work or home, loss, scale, lack of energy, etc. I popped in a CD of some uplifting & soothing music. Then I took a walk, enjoying the songbirds and beauty outdoors.
With the more positive outlook, I feel less buried by my circumstances. Now I can find the energy to deal with what's on my plate.
I began meditating several months ago and decided it was time to loose my weight. When you meditate everything is effortless, but you need to be consistent in your meditation. I meditate twice daily for 30 minutes each time.414
