For Fat Burning-Just Keep Moving!!! Go for time instead of distance or intensity
No matter what type cardio I am doing-I just keep moving...even if I have to slow it down from a jog to a very slow walk. I started going for time (one hour) instead of distance or intensity. I tell myself to be the last one on the track. Often i get a second wind a can jog more later on
Once I started doing over an hour of cardio (running/walking/jogging) I started seeing a difference around my waistline.
I eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. The same way you feed your baby every 2 to 3 hours. Once I refresh myself in the morning I eat my first meal 6:45 am. Once I get to work & settle I snack around 9:30 a.m. Lunch at 12:30 pm. Snack at 3:30. Dinner at 7:00 pm. Have your 6th meal if needed.
Snacks should not be more than 150 calories. The rest of the meals depend on your calorie allowance of the day. Also always drink when you have your meals.
I have lost 13 lbs recently. This has inspired at least 5 people around me who are now motivated to lose weight too. It's easy to become complacent with your weight loss regime once the compliments start coming in. So, to continue to lose weight and remained focussed, inspire others around you. When someone looks up to you for inspiration, you can't let them down. Works for me!
