its no brainer that drinks can add on tons of empty calories with out doing much for your hunger. so instead of grabbing a nice soda or fruit juice, go for a diet coke or light lemonade or diet iced tea; at first the taste difference is very obvious but in less than 3 days you will grow into it i promise and it saves you the like 210 calories per glass.
you should never replace water with the drinks i mention above, but when you do want that occasional flavor drink go calories free- you will also feel guilt free. MAKE SURE ITS LOW SUGAR AS WELL!

Now a days you can find zero-calorie, zero carb, zero sodium flavor packets for your water. I buy a variety of packets (even vitamin enhanced ones for a boost of energy) and drink, drink, drink while I'm at work. This also helps when it's time for my workout because I don't feel run-down and dried out. I'm fresh, full of energy and ready to go!!!
Thanks to the Hungry Girl site, making cupcakes low in calories is a breeze. Just add any flavour of diet pop (eg. Sprite Zero, Coke Zero, Fresca, etc) to any cake mix, mix thoroughly and put in lined muffin tins. Makes 24 cupcakes, and is only 139 calories each. You can visit my recipe "Chocolate Diet Pop Cake" recipe for cooking temp and times. Enjoy!
