Living on a student budget, I use exercise videos at home. When the video instructor asks a question, and the participants answer, so do I. If it's very easy to answer, I rev up my intensity by making bigger movements with my arms and lifting my legs higher. If it's too hard, or I'm panting (as with a new video), I make my movements smaller. Works like a charm!
