It's so easy to think you'll remember it later, but often you won't. The best way to stay on top and on track is to be sure you log the food daily. There's nothing wrong with opening your SparkPeople page several times a day:) It just might be the impetus you need to pass up that hi cal snack!

    This is the first time in all my dieting life that I am tracking my food intake. It's only day 2 but I am going to do this! What I have been doing is writing it down in a notebook I keep in the kitchen and then when I have time - I enter it into my nutrition tracker. I find myself making better choices now that I have to report to myself!

    Since I don't always have access to the Internet, I bought a little notebook called a Fitbook...I love it! I track my food/exercise/goals all in one place, and it's small enough to carry in my purse. And it has space for notes about what's working and what's not, and it breaks my goals down into weeks, with weekly weights, fat %, plans & goals, and's very motivating.

    I definitely will forget if i don't do it as I go. Sometimes some items really shock me when I see what a hit they take on my calorie count! emoticon

    wasn"t sure how to log what I eat throughout the day on the spar log in.Definitely will get a tablet and log what I eat.Thanks!

    the secret in losing these execess fat is by accepting the fact and working towards your goal and at the end of the day, you find out that you are happy with the result. emoticon

    I track my food, I walk daily, some days ride the stationary bike in our exercise room, but, still seem to only maintain and not lose.

    I have become very diligent about logging my food for the day. I feel like it keeps me honest and sometimes it is a real eye opener.
