Some guidelines for grocery shopping - You've heard the line, "Stay on the perimeters of the grocery store", no? This helps you stay away from the snack, sugary drinks and processed foods! I take this one further and only go into an aisle if I need something there. No impulse shopping in an aisle! Also, if you haven't eaten recently, consider having a healthy snack including something protein before you shop. This actually will save you time and money in the long run.
