Getting up just a half hour earlier than normal allows you to exercise first thing in the morning. It's a great way to wake up your body and start your day out right.
I like to exercise with my Wii. I alternate between using my Wii Fit DVD and my Wii Active DVD. Using this, I don't have to worry about it being too dark outside or too cold/hot since I am exercising indoors.
Getting EA Sports Active for the Wii was a big boost to my exercise program. This software has pre-programmed workouts and it keeps track of the time spent as well as approximate calories. You should have the Wii Balance Board to use with it.
Wii Fit Plus is a great way to keep exercising when you haven't been able to stay consistent. I couldn't stay consistent with exercising for several years until I found Wii Fit. It is fun and active, and you can change up your routine every day. They even have minature programs for your targetted goals (ex: toned arms, being leaner, belly fat, etc). I find it great . I have been exercising everyday now, and I can notice how much stronger I'm becoming.306
I also recommend wii sports as well (they often come with the Wii itself). Great way to stay active.
