Secrets of Success

10 Minutes A Day

I am helplessly messy! Because of SP I have started to dedicate 10 min. a day to cleaning up somewhere. It already starts to look A LOT better. I track it on Other Goals. Thank you Spark! emoticon

  • Same here, and the good thing is I usually go longer than the ten minutes. That is also good, I want to eventually be done with the backlog. LOL. - by RUSTYSHAW1

I, too, am organizationally impaired. I blame it on my mother, who, after nagging me to clean my room a zillion times, would do it for me. I love having everything at arm's reach on my desk. The problem is that, when everything is at arm's reach, most of it is buried. After 25 years of marriage my husband and I have taken on each others' worst habit ---and he has gotten a lot less organized that he was when I married him, but he is still infinitely better than I am. (I have gotten much less social and am more of a homebody like he is.)

I don't think 10 minutes a day would do it for me ---maybe 10 hours. But 10 minutes is a start. - by STORMY724
