well i am doing really well with my run/walk routine a good way to keep up with yourself is to set goals or rather identify a landmark along the way for example i always tell myself you can't stop jogging until you reach that bench or that post or if i do stop i always set a mental goal like hey your gonna start running when you get to that bench. I also always set goals to pass the person in front of me so it makes me move faster!!! I am so proud of me i'll be running non-stop in no time! emoticon

  • My husband and I started Couch to 5K and were on week 8 when he hurt his knee. We just now started back running and since we don't have any idea which week we should be doing, we are using landmarks. Our can't-stop-until-you-pass-it
    -landmark
is just over the top of a killer hill in our neighborhood. We found that once we pass that hill, we can ususally keep going. It is amazing how well mental goals work! - by CLESGUERRA
