It depends on what kind of pasta you eat. Al Dente provides more vitamins & minerals than over cooked pasta and Dreamfield's is a good choice as it has 5 digestable carbs, even whole grain pasta is better than white pasta. No creamy or rich sauces either, always have pasta with a tomato based sauce or tossed with a little Olive Oil &Fresh garlic or even Red Clam Sauce Add veggies like brocolli, green beans, chopped onion, or fillers like shrimp, garbanzo beans, or flaxseeds. Eat In Moderation.
I am on a low carb diet. I found Dreamfield Spaghetti. This spaghetti tastes great and does not raise your blood sugar levels like regular pasta. When I am tired of eating spaghetti sqash and just need pasta, this is a good choice for me. If your stores don't have it, order from the net.
The Flour in the pasta makes your blood sugar spike, so even wheat pasta can raise you sugar. Simple sugars like ice cream, candy & the like will raise your blood sugar in about 15 minutes. Starches usually take about an hour or two. Neither rise is any better for your body than the other. Try to avoid pasta or try Dreamfield's pasta.
