If you can possibly do it--walk instead of taking the car. My dentist is about 1 mile away--so I walked it today -- BOTH ways! Yes--it took longer BUT I got my cardio in without going to the gym. Look for these opportunities and allow yourself the time to do it!

I'm a believer in efficiency so I try to incorporate exercise in general tasks. For example, since I love to stand in the soothing pounding and warmth of the shower I stretch that time a minute by doing 20 toe ups for strengthening the calves. --and then cool down with cold to wake up and start the day. Lunging while putting on deodorant or brushing teeth also works. Call me wierd but slowly building metabolism! 209
I am just not one of those people who is ever going to enjoy going to the gym and working out on a regular basis. Therefore, I try to incorporate exercise through fun activities, such as hiking, biking, canoeing, etc. or useful activities, such as housework & yardwork. It just makes my life much more enjoyable :)
Look for opportunities to get in additional exercise. While watching tv, use hand weights or bands. Watch tv on the floor & do stretches & floor exercises. Park farther way, use steps instead of elevators, do squats at your desk. Even do wall pushups will waiting for dinner to cook.
No matter where you are or where you go, there is an opportunity to incorporate some exercise in your day!!
