When woman are upset we tend to reach for food as a comfort. When men are upset they tend to hit the gym and power lift.

If you start thinking like a man when it comes to emotional turmoil you'll feel better physically without that after munchy guilt trip.

Feel like slugging your boss? Instead use a punching bag. Feel like running away from the stress? Run on the treadmill instead. You'll feel better.

    I AGREE about Noy using food as comfort. I like to do any kind of exercise, I CAN at the moment.Walking, aerobics,dancing, strength training.It dulls any need to eat out of emotion.If that doesn't work, though usually it does, I come HERE, or write in my journal. Not manly , but effective!

    Emotional eating sometimes, just adds to the problems. If we take the time to replace it for exercising, we can think things through and not use food as a crutch! Go punch a puching bag to relieve that stress! emoticon
