Trouble running in winter with ice and snow? Take steel screws and affix to the soles of your running shoes. Be sure they are long enough to stay in, but short enough so they do not go through the inner sole. You'll be sure footed and ready to run in any conditions.

My husband and I started running this year. We began with 5Ks and are workig our way up to longer runs. We've never been running like that before but signing up for a monthly race helped us stay motivated to keep training and you get rewarded with a goody bag, shirts and crossing the finish line...
All you need is a pair of running shoes
Even though I'm huge, I won't let that get in my way. Walking was wasting my time. I wait til it's dark, put on running sneakers and head outside to jog. No, I can't go all that fast or far (yet), but it doesn't matter. I go until I am totally out of breath, face beat red and sweating! The metabolism boost was pretty much instantaneous. Try it! You'll see what I mean & it's also an instand mood-lifter! 312
Try and get a good pair of running shoes - it's worth the small investment.
