Slowing Down

This Sparked Me!

I am recently recovering from some health issues so I was unable to be real active. I am now catching up with the things I neglected, but I know I need to take things slow. I was thinking on my way home from the store, keep the pace slow. Take time to do the everyday things. Don't be in such a hurry to get everything accomplished. I make a small list every day and mark things off as I get them done. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and I am slowing down.

I completely agree! After injuries we need to take things at a little slower pace. I'm not losing weight as fast as I thought, however I am losing so that's the important thing to remember.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I am on vacation right now and feeling a little bad that I gained 5+ pounds after the holidays. I am slowing down during this relaxing time- away from the fast pace. I agree its so important to stop and think through what the plan is for the day and KEEP IT DOABLE. Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm recovering from an injury, and I've noticed this too! I'm in such a hurry to get better that I run the risk of making my injury worse and ruining my recovery. I love the advice to slow down and appreciate little things. A good message for everyone.
