I learned a lot about losing weight with Weight Watchers and a little about maintenance. I came to SparkPeople and learned more about losing and a lot more about weight maintenance. I got The Beck Diet Solution and am learning many more skills in dealing with food and thinking like a thin person.
I lost weight by eating frequently and never allowing my hunger to get too great. I'm thinking more like a thin person now that I am learning to tolerate some hunger and learning I don't need to give in to cravings.

I doesn't matter what you learn, just keep learning! You can even focus on one area, such as healthy eating, or exercising. If you learn something new everyday about those things you'll be amazed at how fast you'll start changing your lifestyle around!
I like to keep a what I learned today journal. It can be motivational and it's also a record of something I may have forgotten. Try for at least one new thing everyday, but if it's multiple things...Great!!
By signing up for different events such as a 5K, 10K, rides, walks, strolls, charities, or other fun events, I am able to keep my eye on the event. They help me stay focused and keep learning more and more about how to enjoy the events. ENJOY!! 311 ... 332
