I love cold water too but when I have to make sure I get 8 x 8 oz glasses in a day, I drink tap water that's just above room temperature. Your stomach will tolerate it better and it's easier to drink more water faster. emoticon

    I didn't think this to be the case until I took a recent trip to China. There I discovered drinking hot water since tea stimulates my bladder and I didn't want to use the "squatty potty" any more than necessary! LOL You can add a bit of lemon to the hot water if you like, but I found just plain hot water very satisfying and since it was cold weather the hot water also helped warm me up! I think I may prefer cold water during hot summer days but I've been drinking hot water on these chilly days ... at home and at restaurants. Try it!

    I agree. I don't like really cold water. Tepid water works better for me.

    That works best for me too. I can't really drink much icey cold water, but cool water goes down really easily. emoticon
