I work as a sales clerk in a store , and to sneak in some extra steps while at work ,I have moved the behind- the- counter trash can further away from where it used to be .This makes me take two extra steps to get to it after each transaction, as our customers usually never want their reciept and it gets thrown away .This has been adding an average of 150 extra steps to my daily count.Extra steps add up !Keep moving any way you can !

I work a lot of odd shifts, going back and forth between nightshift and daylight. When I am working a shift I'm not going to be able to workout, I sneak some in with an extra flight of stairs. There's a stairwell at work that I use all the time, I normally only have to go to the 2nd floor, but I sneak in some extra steps by climbing to the 3rd before I go back down to the floor I need to be on.
While I chat on the telephone, I step, I have a walk in place video and know it by heart, so I practice it while chatting on the phone, helps burn some calories while catching up with friends and family, I also where my pedometer so I now how many steps I have done. 306
