I had to find things I already liked doing. I used to run a lot when I was younger and truly enjoyed it. I also love to cook. I decided to start back into running slowly and made a pack to not eat out. I am at the end of week 4 of this and am on a roll. These are 2 things that worked for me, find your own things you already like and learn to love them!

Not really a secret to SPers but I have found that when I have gotten out of tracking is when I plateau. Which then I realize is not really a plateau but me overeating. LOL! When I track I lose--bottom line!
