I rediscovered dance the other day. I'm a little shy to dance in front of others. However, I found my inner teenager coming out and danced to my hearts content.

Another real plus. . .dancing is the consumate form of cross-training. You're using you muscles in a totally different way and don't even realize it.

I do this all the time! emoticon When I do my housework each day, I just pop in my headphones and play my favorite playlist. I find that I can't help but dance along emoticon . The time just flies by! My teenagers look a me like I'm nuts, but that's half the fun to see their faces! emoticon
ACIMPEGGY 1/20/2014 2:53:00 PM

Great idea! I used to turn the oldies music station on the tv and dance to the Twist, the Stroll, the Mashed Potatoes, etc. ATT changed our music stations, though, and I haven't figured out how to get back on the ones I want. Granted, I didn't take that long trying yet. emoticon emoticon

I love to dance, and the benefit it is great exercise. I still have the old Sweatin To The Oldies with Richard Simmons, don't particularly care for him, but great exercise videos.
