Along with strength and cardio training for my body, I've been doing daily facial exercises with the Facercise video. I've gotten rid of the double chin and jowls that had started to develop. My whole face is feeling and looking more toned. Inexpensive facelift....woo hoo!

I learned that I am in control. I decide what happens to my body. My negative thoughts create a negative image of myself, and make me overeat. But thinking positive, believing in myself, and the continual telling of myself that I CAN DO IT makes me believe that I CAN. And I AM!!!!!!104
Being negative starts to become a habit. We pick at ourselves so much that we forget how far we have come and our good traits. I like to write on my mirror with a white board marker to remind me of the good things, although lip liner works too. :) Don't worry; it comes off easy.
Examples: "Stop resisting positive change." "I have pretty eyes." "The double chin is going down." "You look better when you are happy." And a size list that I cross off as I go down so I can see where I started, reminding me that I am smaller, even if I don't see it all the time.
Whenever I feel like eating something bad for me at my desk, I get up and go into the bathroom. I look in the mirror and see how far I've come and ask outloud, "Is a Pepsi worth it if I get the double chin back?" 9 times out of 10, I walk out feeling better about my reflection PLUS I get a few more steps for the day!
