I cook using only recipies that show the total calories per serving and carbs. I will only experiment with recipies that have less than 300 calories and under 9 carbs per serving. This helps my family as well as myself to maintain control of my diet.
You only need a computer or cook book.

Before I had a heart rate monitor I was totally overestimating my calorie burn and underestimating my calorie intake. My heart rate monitor detects how many cals I burn, what my heart rate is at so I can make sure to stay in my fat burning zone, and I know how many more or less calories I should/shouldn't eat! I highly recommend one!
After a little break from SP and a few pounds heavier, hehe, I've decided to restart my engines! I dug out my sports watch that tells me how many calories I burn during exercising. I'm going to monitor calories in vs. calories out. I am logging every bite I take and I am keeping track of my water. I am doing everything I did when I fist started my weight loss journey. I'M GOING BACK TO THE BEGINNING! 243
The heart rate monitors and calorie counters on exercise machines aren't very accurate. I have a heart rate monitor that has an alarm when I'm not in the target zone for cardio and it counts calories. It's like having a personal trainer to tell you to push harder without the cost of one!
