After reading about the health benefits of flax seed, I've started adding ground flax to a lot of foods I prepare for my family.

Add a teaspoon to fruit smoothies. Substitute a few tablespoons for flour in cookies, cakes, muffins. Stir into pancake or waffle batter. Sprinkle over yogurt & granola or oatmeal.

    Flax seeds in any form is extremely good for your health, as it contains omega 3.
