Everyone talks about goals they have set for themselves, but what about after the goal has been reached? The easy part is attaining your goal; the hard part is maintaining the new you. You work so hard to reach your peak, but have to work so much harder to avoid relapsing. It's a scary thought, but it happens to so many. Create a plan that will keep you going. Don't stop! In my mind, "dieting" to me means there is an end. Meaning, when you've reached your goal, you can stop "dieting". I believe it is a full, mind,body, spiritual LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Peeple get fat because of several factors. I believe a change of way of life will lead to everything you've ever wanted, including a fantastic,achievable weight loss.
You've reached your goal weight and you are healthier and happier than you have been in a long time. You've changed your life style, so why change anything? Play a little with your food intake to see what keeps you balanced. Don't be afraid to have 4 pieces of Hershey's Dark Chocolate Kisses
instead of 2-3. Keep up your water intake and weigh once every couple of weeks to see if you are maintaining and adjust your meals and exercise program as necessary. DO NOT revert to the habits you had pre-Spark! A bag of potato chips? No. A half gallon of ice cream? No. You know how to do it!
