think of exercise as one of the best anti-aging products and also the other pluses it has - gets you going for the day, lifts your spirits, gets you warm in cold weather, aids depression, good stress diffuser, good for many medical ailments, can get you new friends, outlooks, activities etc emoticon

    I know everyone hates a bragger. I just turned 47 and I have friends who look much older than me.
Maybe it is my moms good genes, or, maybe the diet and exercise I follow.
I dont have the lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth that many of my friends have.
I also quit smoking in my 20s so I saved myself alot of skin and health issues there.
I dont sit around complaining about aches and pains all the time as some my age do.
Keep in mind, I broke my foot in 2013 and suffered great foot and leg issues related to this and low vitamin d.
Even then, I kept a positive attitude and even when suffering thru depressive states, I kept a good outlook toward a healthier older age.
I look forward to every day of sunshine I am given, and while sun can cause skin issues, I dont worry or fear it. I soak it up and get my vitamin d and it makes me so much happier and healthier. 47, just like the weight number on the scale is just a number now, nothing to be feared.

    It proven fact that exercising will at least make your existing life much more active and just that alone will extend our quality of life.

    Getting oxygen into the blood stream accounts for sooo many good things. It can help keep the brain active too. What with that and keeping as many muscles as possible from sagging, well, it's a win-win really, isn't it?

    This is true! I started focusing on fitness for the first time in my life and had 3 people I just met tell me that they couldn't believe I was 48. 2 of them were nurses at my doctors office so they saw it on my chart. Its not like I just tell everyone. LOL

    So true! When I'm eating nutritiously and exercising regularly, my skin looks better and I feel great!
