    Brown rice and pasta is all I buy these days. Love it!

    Doesn't work for me as the carbs in brown rice spike it for me just as quickly as white rice. But brown rice definitely has more fiber and nutrients, so I save it as a treat for those days when I am craving sugar.

    i have been putting off giving up the white rice, because I am a southerner and red beans and brown rice? aaaawwww......I am now at least gonna try....wish I could get some good recipes though...
