I've been on a plateau ever since I started this journey 3 months ago (I just didn't know it until now), I lost some weight but I struggled. I was on a strict 1200-1300 cal a day with very low sugar or fats and I was barley losing a pound a week and then I would gain it back again.
Well that has all changed in the last two weeks alone I have lost 8 pounds!!!! just by including peanuts, walnuts and olive oil into my diet on a daily basis. My calorie intake is now 1200-1500 calories.
Also another tip I don't eat at least 3 hours before bedtime, If I get hungry (which hardly happens) I sip my water or you can try something water based like oranges, melons, strawberries or hot chocolate. Hope this helps.
